Fresh Cherry Crisp

We couldn’t eat all the pretty cherries I bought fast enough. I knew after a few more days I would be seeing them begin to soften.

   I  needed  a  recipe!

So in five seconds I had a recipe in front of me. If there’s a title for any kind of fruit crisp, I’m probably in.  Butter and oats and brown sugar all melded together into some kind of crispy-chewy-salty goodness.

This was so good, I couldn’t not share it with you.

Recipe for Individual Fresh Cherry Crisp

    It’s not my recipe.

It comes from Jamie at My Baking Addiction.

Go to the site and get this recipe for Fresh Cherry Crisp.

Sometimes you just KNOW something’s gonna be good.

Her pictures. Look at that ice cream.

Her recipes are lovely. Her pictures are lovely. Her descriptions are lovely.

I couldn’t decide about ramekins, and no one was looking. So I used a muffin tin to make really small individual servings. (P.S. For future reference, I found I am four individuals.)

My pictures are below. Which clearly shows I am not a food blogger or a photographer. You’ve heard my disclaimer before. Those food bloggers work really hard to show you their recipes. They have to be expert cooks and photographers.

I am neither, and I have a hard time setting up a photography session with something I’m longing to eat.

I hope you get a chance to make this, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

My advice: Just go.  Go to the site and get this recipe for Fresh Cherry Crisp

I may try it again with different fruit. It’s her ingredients and proportions that make the magic.

Jamie, we will be back for more. Thanks for the deliciousness.
